The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek would like to thank our Sponsors for their part in making the 2010 version of the two year old series a success. “Having great companies like CenturyLINK onboard just made the series that much better” stated Director of Competition Kurt Smith. “With their help we were able to guarantee the full point’s payout for the seven race schedule even though we lost two events to the weather. It is a great thing to be able to do that for the competitors that support us all week. All of our sponsors were just outstanding to work with, they all believe in what we are doing and every one of them are a great asset to have in any series. I’m very honored that they have come onboard with us. Along with our staff and sponsors we would like to Congratulate the 2010 champion Rick Eckert as it would be tough to find a better ambassador for our series let alone the sport of dirt late model racing. The unsung heroes of this deal are the staff; they take time off work to help with this for no or very little pay because they love this support. Without Jason, Tim, Kenny, Kevin, Lisa & Jessica this deal would be impossible to accomplish” added Smith.. READ MORE
